About Kidplay

Kidplay makes apps for the jobs a family shares, from potty training and sick days to chores, carpools and the dog, with one record everyone who helps can see.

Most of family life is a hand-off. One parent does the morning, the other does pickup, a grandparent has the afternoon, a sitter has the evening. Each of them needs to know what already happened: when the last dose was given, whether the dog has been out, who is driving on Thursday.

We build apps for those hand-offs. Each one does one job and keeps one record the whole household shares, so nobody has to ask and nobody has to guess.

Our apps

  • Potty Whiz: every success, accident and reward in one log shared with grandparents, sitters and daycare, with celebrations kids love.
  • Fever Whiz: medicines, temperatures and symptoms in one place, with when the next dose is due, so sick duty can change hands without the guesswork.
  • Chore Boss: chores by room and by turn, the money kids earn for them, and a balance the whole family can see.
  • Kid Hop: school and sports carpools planned with other families, showing who is driving and who has a seat, with each ride followed live.
  • Doggy Time: potty breaks, meals, walks, training and vet records for dogs and 49 other kinds of pets, shared with everyone who helps.

Every app is free to start, with Premium for families who want more.

What we care about

Shared by default. A record only helps if the person on duty can see it, so everything you log stays in sync for everyone you invite.

Quick to log. Entries get made while holding a toddler, a leash or a thermometer, so the common ones take a tap or two.

Answers from your own records. Each app's assistant answers questions like "how many accidents this week?" or "when was the last dose?" from your family's log, not from generic advice.

Who we are

Kidplay Technologies LLC is a small, independent company. We are parents too, and we use these apps in our own homes.

Questions or ideas? Every app has a Help screen where you can ask, and reach a person when you need one, or browse the help center.
