How to switch between homes

Chore Boss can manage more than one home from one account, for example two households after a separation, or a holiday home. Each home has its own chores, members, rewards and settings.

See your homes

1. Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen.
2. Under Account, tap My Homes.

You see every home you created or joined. The home you are using now has a green checkmark.

Switch to a different home

1. Tap Settings.
2. Under Current Home, tap Switch Home next to your home's name.
3. Tap the home you want.
4. Tap Switch To This Home.

You can also go to Settings, then My Homes, tap a home and tap Switch To This Home.

Chore Boss reloads with the chores, members and settings of that home.

Add a home

1. Tap Settings, then My Homes.
2. Tap Add Home.
3. Enter a name and tap Save.

The free plan includes one home of your own. Homes you joined with an invite don't count. To add more homes of your own, you need premium. See What's free and what's premium in Chore Boss.

Missing chores or data?

If you don't see your chores, members or rewards, you are most likely in a different home. Check the home name under Current Home at the top of the Settings tab, then switch back to the right home.

Troubleshooting

• I don't see Switch Home: the member selected on this phone has Limit Access. Switch to a parent's profile from the name at the top of the Home tab.
• Add Home opens the upgrade screen: you already have one home of your own on the free plan.
